Place: Subic, Philippines
Age: 33
Business: Sari-Sari Store
Loan: 90 €

33-year old Royane lives together with her family in their own home in Subic. Owning property is quite uncommon for most of the population due to high levels of destitution. Her husband Benwil works as a grinder and makes approximately 6,30€ a day, the countrywide minimum wage. The three children (aged 8, 12 and 14) are still attending school.

In order to support the family and her husband, Royane opened her own Sari-Sari shop, a business where she sells products such as rice and beverages. With one of our micro credits of 90€, Rojane not only plans to increase the variety of products on offer but would also hire an employee for the shop.
